Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sault Ste. Marie is seeking a

Marketing and Communications Intern

          In collaboration and under the direction of the Executive Director the Intern will:

 1. Develop and implement an annual marketing and communications plan for Big Sisters of Sault Ste. Marie to meet the agency’s strategic goals and objectives.

2. Communicate the agency's services, funding needs, volunteer needs, fundraising events, and value to the community through various and diverse communications channels including newsletters, e-newsletters, website, social media, annual reports, advertising, and press releases.  

3. Manage the agency’s social media platforms and website.

4. Monitor and collects monthly recruitment statistics and website analytics and provide reports of growth and activity.

5. Assist in general agency functioning and performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications

-          University or College Marketing, Communication or Public Relations graduate, who has graduated within the last three years from an accredited college or university.  The candidate must be a graduate of a post-secondary degree or diploma program.  The position will be a first full-time employment in the candidate’s field of study.

 

Deadline for Application: July 15th, 2016 @4PM

Start Date August 8th, 2016, for a 52 week consecutive internship.
